A minority group of Chrysler LLC secured lenders has objected in bankruptcy court to the quick sale of Chrysler to a new corporate entity led by Fiat S.p.A. The group of about 40 banks and hedge funds holds about $3 billion of the $6.9 billion in secured loans that Chrysler has with the banks. Four major New York banks holding $4 billion of that debt agreed last week to settle for $2 billion in payment for the $6.9 billion owed.

We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. The first production 2013 SRT Viper will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson's Orange County auction, taking place June 22-24. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, the American Le Mans Series' official charity. The foundation's mission is to curb the effects of childhood cancer and improve affected children's quality of life.
